Product Information
Guntram Wolf believes that players have very diverse needs so he makes Bassoon Bocals from different materials and in different thicknesses from 0.5mm to a full 1.0mm and variations in length in 1mm increments indicated by one or two dots after the size ("2.." being 2mm longer than the "2"). In addition to that he offers a choice of his own and flurodynamics specialist Prof. Grundmann's design and players can further choose hand forged bocals that have an even better projection, some of them have been forged several times for optimum performance indicated by a numerical for how many times it was forged followed by a "g". Apart from brass, coded "M", and nickel silver, coded "N" he has developed a special alloy, coded "T" that gives the instrument a warmer tone, without loss of power or projection.
